The shelving system Shadowplay by Relvão Kellermann – named after the eponymous Joy Division song – consists of 1 mm-thin steel sheet, whose form is a result of the search for maximal stability with minimal material use. The range of application of Shadowplay is diverse: The tall version can function as a generous bookshelf or sculptural room divider, while the flat version can be used, for example, as a sideboard or a flat storage shelf next to a desk. The shelf consists of only two different components – flanks and shelves – which can be mounted by way of a simple push-fit and screw system with minimal effort. Shadowplay is powder-coated in different colours and heights.
