The Berlin-based VORN Magazin is an independent publication that appears once a year. A 12-page product design feature realised by L&Z is featured in the sixth edition of VORN. For the feature, we grouped objects by Jerszy Seymour, Rupert Kopp, Cordula Kehrer, L&Z, Uli Budde, Mark Braun and Christian Haas together and categorized them as “UO” (Undefined Objects). In cooperation with the photographer Joachim Baldauf, a series of 7 full-page photographs resulted. Both the objects selected and the accompanying text discussed the irrational moment and the mysteriousness that can be inherent to design objects. The contribution was intended to not only provide a stage for the poetic, subtle tendencies of product design, but also to express this position programmatically. The sixth edition of VORN can purchased via the VORN website and in retail stores.
